Place the fibres between two sheets of baking parchment and iron on a 'silk' setting for a few seconds and the fibres will bond to each other to produce a non-woven fabric. A small amount of overlapping Angelina fibre laid sparingly will produce a delicate, lacy fabric but place the fibres more densely and it will produce a more solid fabric which can be cut and stitched into by hand or machine. Thicker fabrics will probably require heat applied to both sides in order to bond the fibres. Be careful not to apply too much heat or pressure. Two or more colours of Angelina 'Hot Fix' can be blended together to create a new colour. Angelina colours can be toned down by placing a sheer fabric over the top, e.g. tulle, net, organza etc.
Angelina comes in packets of approximately 7 gms/0.25 ozs.
Angelina fibre is very difficult to photograph because of its sparkling quality and therefore we have given a brief description of each colour.
